John Stamos Cast as Iron Man in Spidey & His Amazing Friends Season 2

John Stamos joins season 2 of Disney Junior’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends as Iron Man, along with a number of other new superheroes and villains.

John Stamos will be voicing Iron Man in season 2 of Spidey and His Amazing Friends. The animated superhero series premiered on Disney Junior on August 6, 2021, and follows Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Gwen Stacy as they team up with young versions of popular Marvel characters to fight a number of villains, such as Green Goblin and Doc Ock. In addition to getting renewed for a second season, set to premiere this summer, a Spidey and His Amazing Friends comic book was announced in February as a way to introduce young audiences to the comic medium. Throughout season 1, the show featured the voices of Benjamin Valic, Jakari Fraser, Lily Sanfelippo, Dee Bradley Baker, Gabrielle Ruiz, Kari Wahlgren, and others.

Now, Deadline is reporting that John Stamos will voice Tony Stark/Iron Man in the upcoming season of Spidey and His Amazing Friends. Ant-Man (Sean Giambrone), Wasp (Maya Tuttle), Reptil (Hoku Ramirez), Black Cat (Jaiden Klein), Sandman (Tom Wilson), and Electro (Stephanie Lemelin) will also be introduced into the series this summer.

Stamos is famously known for portraying Jesse Katsopolis on Full House, a role he would later reprise in the 2016 Netflix spin-off, Fuller House. He currently stars in the Disney+ series Big Shot, where he plays Marvyn Korn, a college basketball coach adjusting to his new job with a high school girls team. It should be fun to see the actor in yet another family-friendly series, and audiences of the Disney Junior show can look forward to his involvement when Spidey and His Amazing Friends returns.
