In Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Strategies can be used to impact any major mission battle in the game through a variety of options.
In order to win major battles easily in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, it is important to understand how to use Strategies effectively, especially for those who are playing the game in its unforgiving classic mode. Although Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a hack and slash game, the environment of the battle can be changed by using Strategies. Strategies provide additional benefits that impact any mission that they’re used on, benefits such as being able to turn certain enemies after they’re defeated, providing additional support for the convoy, and more.
Before players can use any Strategies, however, they’ll have to earn Strategy resources in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. The resources are essentially a currency to be able to spend on any of the available Strategies, so they must be spent wisely. For example, if players choose not to use a Strategy that would allow them to turn an enemy’s general, they’ll miss out on being able to unlock that character to play throughout the rest of the game. Strategies also do not carry over from chapter to chapter, so the best option is to spend them on the most important options in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
Strategies cannot be used in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes until players reach chapter four, the first official chapter of the game after finishing the prologue. Additionally, rather than affecting a specific unit or class in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, the benefits apply to the convoy at large. By completing side quests and objectives throughout each battle, players will be able to earn more Strategy resources that can then be used in the chapter’s major battle. If a side objective is missed during any mission, players can repeat the mission by speaking with the Record Keeper in the base camp next to the Strategist.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes – How To Use Strategies
Strategies can be used before a major battle begins in the war map preparation menu. By selecting the “Strategies” tab in the menu during mission preparation, players will be given a list of Strategies that will either begin at the start of the mission or occur at some point during it. More Strategy options can be unlocked in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes by surveying the area around a conquered territory.
As mentioned, players will want to use their Strategy resources before the end of the chapter since they won’t carry over to the next. While there is no particular option that has to be used, those who wish to have more playable characters should always select the recruit Strategies first. Afterward, a protection Strategy should be selected to ensure no unit perishes forever during the mission.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is available for the Nintendo Switch.
