House Of The Dragon Extended Comic-Con Trailer Sets Up Targaryen War

Ahead of its August premiere, HBO reveals an extended trailer for its highly anticipated Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon.

HBO unveils the extended House of the Dragon trailer that debuted at San Diego Comic-Con. The upcoming series is a prequel to fantasy juggernaut Game of Thrones and will focus on the rise (and eventual fall) of House Targaryen.

House of the Dragon is the first of many planned Game of Thrones spinoffs. Ahead of its August premiere, HBO has begun pulling back the curtain more and more on what lies ahead for Westeros.

On Saturday, House of the Dragon arrived at San Diego Comic-Con for a major panel. During the panel, the series revealed fresh footage from the prequel, which HBO then released during Shark Week on Discovery. Check out the extended trailer down below.
