The colorful and frequently hilarious DnD-themed Borderlands spin-off Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is adding an entirely new class and more with its fourth DLC pack, the Shattering Spectreglass. Borderlands games have made a name for themselves with their highly customizable gameplay styles, unique sense of humor, and wide array of guns. The series has cemented itself as one of the most accessible loot shooters that can be enjoyed alone or with up to four friends. While most Borderlands games have taken place in a more sci-fi setting, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands switches gears by shifting to a fantasy theme.
Besides containing the acclaimed voice acting talents of Ashly Burch, Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, and Arin Hanson, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is one of the best co-op shooters released this year. The game was developed during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and although the team at Gearbox Software had to work from home, it created a spin-off that successfully checked all the boxes Borderlands fans hoped to see. Wonderlands included couch co-op, endgame activities, and a highly varied amount of class customization that should help fans create a powerfully unique hero. And like previous games in the franchise, DLC is adding bosses, loot, and a new class focused on delivering an onslaught of elemental damage.
The fourth DLC pack for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, dubbed Shattering Spectreglass, has arrived. Besides a new boss, unlockable gear, and new areas, it includes the magical Blightcaller class. As reported by Kotaku, the new content is the fourth and possibly final DLC included in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Season Pass. Blightcaller is the first new class to be introduced into the game since it launched this past March. While most of the classes included in Wonderlands resemble those featured in previous Borderlands titles, the newest class feels more unique than the others. The Blightcaller class focuses on defense and possesses special abilities that could potentially damage enemies with up to three different elemental types simultaneously. A look into Blightcaller’s other unique abilities and what else players can expect from the Tiny Tina’s DLC can be seen in a new video on Gearbox‘s YouTube channel.

Once players create a character in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and make a small amount of progress in the game’s campaign, they can unlock a second class. This allows Tiny Tina fans to combine multiple classes to create interesting and brutal combinations of magical spells, helpful companions, and powerful physical attacks that are made even more impressive once combined with the abilities of characters made by other players. By all accounts, developer Gearbox Software did a solid job with the game’s customizable gameplay, and fans hope to see similar ideas appear in the team’s next project.
While Shattering Spectreglass may be the final DLC to be included in Wonderlands Season Pass, it might not be the end of the game’s support. Previous Borderlands games have seen the release of two season passes, as well as numerous free updates that have helped keep the games feeling fresh and fun long after they are released. The new Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands DLC should provide fans with plenty more adventures as they wait for a release date for Borderlands 4, a Wonderlands sequel, or whatever the developers have in store for the next chapter of the Borderlands franchise.
