She-Hulk Double Explains Why A Ms. Marvel Team-Up Would Be Perfect

Exclusive: She-Hulk: Attorney at Law’s on-set reference, Malia Arrayah, weighs in on why a Ms. Marvel team-up would be perfect for Jennifer Walters.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘s on-set reference, Malia Arrayah, explains why she thinks a Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk team-up would be perfect. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Ms. Marvel marked the two most recent Marvel Cinematic Universe TV shows to hit Disney+. Both shows are led by female heroes. She-Hulk: Attorney at Law follows Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) after she gains the ability to become a Hulk like her cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo). Meanwhile, Ms. Marvel follows Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), whose superpowers are awakened within her from a bangle inherited from her great-grandmother.

Ms. Marvel performed very well, rising to become the MCU’s best-rated project on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also received a largely positive reception from critics. Both shows tried to break the mold of typical MCU stories, too. Ms. Marvel marked the MCU’s first lead Muslim superhero and was also a cultural exploration of Indian-Pakistani trauma. Meanwhile, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law confronted some of the MCU’s biggest criticisms head-on and was also a thoughtful commentary on gender issues in society. Needless to say, both of those shows stand out in the MCU, and She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel could make quite a splash if they appeared together.

In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, She-Hulk: Attorney at Law‘s Arrayah explains why a Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk team-up would be perfect. Arrayah points out that the two share a unique similarity: they have both just recently discovered their powers. Given that they’re in the same boat, Arrayah thinks it would be interesting to get them together. Check out her statement below:

It would be really interesting to see She-Hulk with Ms. Marvel because Ms. Marvel [just] happens to find her powers. I think there’s kind of a similar sense of excitement. For Jen, her powers are new, and she’s She-Hulk. They’re both embodying these new senses of power, and they realize [it within] themselves. I would be very interested in [seeing them in] the same vicinity and seeing what would happen.

Will She-Hulk & Ms. Marvel Meet In The MCU?

It can’t be denied that She-Hulk’s and Ms. Marvel’s similarities run pretty deep. However, it is uncertain if the two will eventually meet in the MCU. Ms. Marvel is set to make her MCU return shortly in the upcoming film The Marvels. It will see her star alongside Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau. However, She-Hulk’s future in the MCU has not been confirmed yet, though there are rumors of a potential She-Hulk: Attorney at Law season 2 or a She-Hulk appearance in Daredevil: Born Again. For now, at least, the two don’t seem poised to meet in the MCU anytime soon.

Still, a meet-up between the two could happen eventually. The two exist in the same universe, and in the comics, they both have ties to the Avengers. With two new Avengers films slated to premiere in the future, anything is possible. Plus, the two make quite the dynamic duo. They are both immensely charismatic, share similar plot lines, and both took the MCU by storm within months of each other. A team-up between the two would be too perfect to let pass, but with She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Ms. Marvel both being such fresh additions to the MCU it’s too early to say if their paths might cross in the future.
