Manga author Inoue’s official Twitter account revealed on Monday (31/10/22) that they are working on a new manga, which will be serialized in Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry manga website in the spring of 2023. Inoue did not disclose the title, but an image of the main character of the new manga was posted on twitter.

Inoue launched The Duke of Death and His Made manga in Sunday Webery back in October 2017, and finished the series in May 2022. Shogakukan published the manga’s first compiled book volume in January 2018, and the 16th and final volume in July 2022.
English translation o the manga is published by Seven Seas. The company published the manga’s first compiled book volume in May, and will publish the fourth and fifth volumes on December 20 and March 14, respectively.
Inoue posted a special Halloween chapter of the manga in Sunday Weebry on Saturday, and followed it up with a two-part Honeymoon arc on Sunday and Monday.
The television anime adaptation of the manga premiered in July 2021, and was broadcast for 12 episodes. A sequel was announced in the last episode of the anime. Anime staff later confirmed that the sequel is a second season that will debut in 2023.
